Miss Leora Fairweather-Barnet-Smythe and her sisters, all talented swooners and hat makers, and all of marriageable age, are in want of husbands. Leora’s parents have promised her to a much older man, so when Richard Longsword, a handsome stable hand, joins the staff at Riddlingtonstoneway Abbey, he catches Leora’s eye. She imagines a life with him, a scandal of the worst kind.
Can she find a way to obtain her heart’s desire and avoid the shame it would cause? Can her sisters find husbands? And will there be enough feathers in Regency London to satisfy every member of the Fairweather-Barnett-Smythe family?
If you enjoy Blackadder or Monty Python, as well as Bridgerton or Jane Austen, this is the book for you!

Reader Comments:
Kelly Evans brings her lighthearted and tongue-in-cheek sense of humour to this Regency Romance with a twist. I absolutely loved it!
All of our beloved old cliches slipped into this tried and true romance. The primary motive is marriage, of course! And the daughters keep finding unsuitable matches. The ground is littered with dead bodies from duels, and the girls take fainting to a fine art. Great fun!

Surprisingly, the name of the company who published Frankenstein is correct: publishers Lackington, Hughs, Harding, Mavor, and Jones.
The names of shops were made up by, for the most part, names of friends and family. Be nice to writers otherwise you may find yourself in a book.
